Fabian Scheidler estudi\u00f3 Historia y Filosof\u00eda en la Freie Universit\u00e4t de Berl\u00edn y Direcci\u00f3n Teatral en la Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Darstellende Kunst de Fr\u00e1ncfort del Meno. Desde 2001 trabaja como autor independiente para medios impresos, televisi\u00f3n, teatro y \u00f3pera.<\/p>

En 2009 fund\u00f3, junto con David Goe\u00dfmann, la revista de televisi\u00f3n independiente Kontext TV<\/a>, que cuenta con el apoyo de Noam Chomsky, entre otros, y produce regularmente programas sobre temas de justicia global. Tambi\u00e9n publica en revistas<\/a> como Le Monde diplomatique, Berliner Zeitung, Der Freitag, Taz, Frankfurter Rundschau, Wiener Zeitung, The Nation, Jacobin, New Left Review, Common Dreams, ZNet, The Progressive, Transform Review, Revista Contexto, El Salto, Mediapart, Reporterre, Radio France, Wochenzeitung WOZ, Neue Rundschau y Bl\u00e4tter f\u00fcr deutsche und internationale Politik. Premio Otto Brenner de Periodismo Cr\u00edtico (2009). Coordinadora del programa del Tribunal Attac Bank en la Volksb\u00fchne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz (2010).<\/p>

Como dramaturgo y autor, trabaj\u00f3 durante muchos a\u00f1os para el Teatro Grips de Berl\u00edn, donde tambi\u00e9n se represent\u00f3 su obra Prima Klima<\/em><\/a>, reconocida como contribuci\u00f3n oficial a la D\u00e9cada de la Educaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo Sostenible de la UNESCO. En 2013, su \u00f3pera Muerte de un banquero<\/em><\/a> (m\u00fasica : Andreas Kersting) se estren\u00f3 en el Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater de G\u00f6rlitz.<\/p>

En 2015 se public\u00f3 el libro de Fabian Scheidler El fin de la megam\u00e1quina. Historia de una civilizaci\u00f3n en v\u00edas de colapso<\/em><\/a>, que se tradujo al franc\u00e9s (Le Seuil 2020), ingl\u00e9s (Zero Books 2020), neerland\u00e9s (Lemniscaat 2017), turco (Aram Yay\u0131nevi 2023), italiano (Castelvecchi 2024) y espa\u00f1ol (Icaria). Se est\u00e1n preparando versiones en chino y kurdo. La Biblioteca Robert Jungk de Estudios del Futuro la vot\u00f3 como una de las \u00abTOP 10 de la literatura del futuro\u00bb.<\/p>
